A trip to the ruin of Cimburk Castle, tucked away in the middle of the Chřiby forests. On the way back you’ll also pass the striking rock formation Kozel.

In the footsteps of the mammoth hunters

In Boršice there’s a short nature trail with sculptures and information about the age of the mammoth hunters.

Kazatelna and Klimentek

This route takes you to a rock formation that resembles a pulpit, which is how it got its name. From Kazatelna there’s a nice view of nearby Cimburk.

The path then continues to the little church of St Clement on top of the hill, where a Great Moravian hillfort once stood. Before reaching it you can make a detour to the nearby spring of St Gorazd.

Employees of the local scrapyard started making animal sculptures out of leftover metal. It has grown into a fantastic park that delights kids and adults alike. Among other things, there’s also a lighthouse and a pirate ship.

Kunovice Aviation Museum

Aviation has a strong tradition in Kunovice thanks to the LET factory. Many of the aircraft types that were built there can be seen in the museum next to the airfield. Among others, there’s the government plane that brought the gold-medal hockey players home from Nagano.
