If you don’t have one and your kids like scrambling over rocks, you can follow a beautiful little path along the rocky ridge and pick up a geocache or two along the way.

A walk through the forest around the remains of a small castle where Jan Hus once stayed. They’ve put together a nice nature trail with comics about it.

The walk is made even nicer by a game reserve with fallow deer and other animals, or perhaps by the low-flying planes from the nearby airfield.

A pretty walk close to Tábor. It’s especially lovely along the Lužnice river, and the rest of the way is livened up by a game reserve and information boards.
