Hazmburk Castle

A walk up to one of the most scenic castle ruins in the country. Its unmistakable silhouette can be seen from far away.
The sweeping views from the top of the castle tower, over the Central Bohemian Uplands, Říp and beyond, are truly superb. I’d therefore recommend saving the visit for a day with good visibility.
The ascent from the east and then along the red trail is manageable even with an all-terrain pram.
Nearby Libochovice with its beautiful park is worth a visit too.
