Pravčická brána

Pravčická brána is the symbol of Bohemian Switzerland, so it would be a shame to skip it during your visit.

If you don’t want to walk unnecessary kilometres along the road in Hřensko, I recommend parking in the car park in Mezní Louka and taking the bus with the kids from there to the Tři Prameny junction (stop Hřensko, Pravčická brána) or the Hřensko Express.

Then all that’s left is to head up to Pravčická brána – the path is pleasant and could be done with a sportier pushchair, but the viewpoints above Pravčická brána are definitely not pushchair territory.

Tickets can also be bought online, so you avoid the queue at the ticket office. Be sure to climb up to the viewpoint above the falcon’s nest, there’s a beautiful view of the surroundings and Pravčická brána.

You go back the same way, buses to Mezní Louka run frequently, and if anyone hasn’t had enough yet, in Mezní Louka there’s the Lynx Trail or a lovely playground with a wooden Pravčická brána.
