Třemšín

The route starts from Roželov Chateau, where prominent church dignitaries were once imprisoned. You can park right next to it, or just after turning off the main road, from where it’s further to walk, but there’s a playground there.

On the way to the summit you pass the Třemšín Well, which has a legend about a treasure attached to it – and there’s also a cleverly hidden treasure in the form of a geocache that’s easy to find.

Boys in particular shouldn’t miss the partisan bunker. You can shortcut the way to the summit by heading straight up the hill along a well-trodden path.

At the summit there is a lookout gazebo and a small chapel, and the hilltop is enclosed by the remains of a castle, of which little more than earthworks survive.

The way back leads past the Třemšínská bouda hut and goes quickly, because it’s downhill all the way.
